Personalized Services of On-site HR Manager
We will help manage your Company’s Human Resources by working side by side with management to set up a solid HR infrastructure, as well as address employee relations, compliance, morale, compensation and labor issues.
We will work with (and mentor) your team to accomplish the following objectives: (this is not an all inclusive list):
- Review benefits and assist with administration
- Review the Exempt/Non-Exempt or Independent Contractor status of each position in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act.
- Review your process for timekeeping and approval of hours worked, time off etc…
- Review personnel files and provide guidelines on what should be included in each employee’s personnel and medical files. Review I-9’s to ensure compliance.
- Ensure a system is in place to properly coordinate benefits relating to NY State Disability, Workers Compensation and FMLA.
- Review and develop (if needed) New Hire and orientation processes. Develop new employee training guidelines/checklists to make for a more systematic orientation to the company and ensure the Company is in compliance with section 195 of the NY Labor Law.
- Develop, and assist with a progressive disciplinary process to limit liability and treat employees consistently and fairly.
- HR Help Desk – Provide consultation, guidance and recommendations regarding procedures involving day-to-day Human Resource/Legal issues.
- Employee Handbook – update Employee Handbook, as needed, to clearly and explain HR policies which reflect the corporate culture and philosophy and is up to date with recent legal requirements.
